-If you stick around long enough to get to “friend” status she’s as loyal as they come. That being said she makes for an excellent body guard :D.

-Getting into trouble is just flat out exciting and fun for her.
-Nasty temper
-I did say she was loud and obnoxious right?

:bulletorange:History: ( I apologize it’s a tad long :( )
Cora’s birth was considered taboo; the result of an illicit marriage between her parents. Both of whom were werewolves. At first glance the child seemed normal and healthy, but not but a few days after being born, the babe’s mother passed due to complications from delivery. The local wolf clan picked up on this tragedy, and was quick to label the baby girl a “curse” effectively rendering both the remaining parent and his newborn offspring outcasts. For the next five years Cora lived a fairly happy and uneventful life with her father, Taras, in the Ural Mountains just to the east of Pechora, Russia. There they had made a small cabin into a quaint little home for themselves, and being conveniently close to town Taras was able to pick up small jobs here and there. While money wasn’t much they never went without the basics, and a roof over their head. For the little amber eyed girl it was all she could ever want; food, some simple toys to play with, a warm place to sleep, and most importantly her Papa. Nothing made her happier than curling up in his lap before bedtime to hear stories of the fascinating “wolf people” she was born from. Taras never once thought to pass along feelings of hatred and distain for those that ostracized and shunned them. If the day would come when Cora would turn he didn’t want his daughter to detest their kind…or herself. One cold winter night Taras was out hunting in his wolf form, and made the mistake of wandering too close to town. Shots rang out as the beast man ran, but not before two of the projectiles found their way deep into his flesh. Desperately trying to make it back home, as his blood spilled into the crisp white snow, he realized his attempt was futile. Letting out one last long and drawn out howl he prayed his crying plea would be heard.

Asleep in her bed Cora was abruptly woken up by a burly stranger standing nearby instructing her to dress and follow him outside. Groggy and not sure what was going on, she did as told, and when exiting the house was confronted by several more alien faces. Some human, and some far more beastly. What happened next was a blur. Cora was flatly told her father was dead, and not coming home. The man who woke her, and one other, then quickly ushered her into town leaving the young girl just outside of a police station. Taras’ cry had been heard, by the clan he had once belonged to, but rather than take the dreaded taboo child back the decision was made to leave her with the humans.

**Note: Some of the history below may change pending other characters that might be added in by another member. :D**
Bouncing from orphanage to orphanage all throughout Russia became the norm for Cora. No one seemed to want to deal with the unruly girl that bullied the other children, and cursed at and fought with the attending adults. As the years progressed so did her ability to control herself it seemed. The likely hood that someone would want to adopt a child like that seemed impossible, but by the time Cora was 12 she miraculously found one who would take her in. A young attendant by the name of Roman ([link]) had taken a liking to the little firecracker, and, after a little persuasion, talked her companion into adopting the girl.

It was clear to her adopted father, Ishkov, that Cora needed some sort of structure and definitely discipline. Quick to fly off the handle and anger he directed her energy the only way he knew how. He taught her to fight. Not just any old backyard brawling, but refined forms used in organized sports. Boxing and kickboxing she picked up very rapidly, and became her instant favorites. Eventually the family was traveling in order for her to compete in tournaments. Described as a natural it didn’t take long for Cora to gain recognition for her skill within the small circuit, and in the family’s less than honorable community. All was well until the night of her first change at the age of 16, when the trio was jumped, returning from a competition, by thugs seeking retribution for a wrong Ishkov had done years past. Full moon and screams filled the night sky as Cora’s teenage figure was agonizingly replaced with that of an enraged and manic werewolf. The men who thought they had picked an easy night to execute their plans never had a chance, and before her loved ones could make sense of what they were seeing Cora disappeared into the darkness. Pain searing through her body it wasn’t until she reached a nearby wooded area that her running came to a stop. Panic, confusion, and terror joined the aching of her body. Looking down at herself as she was now it was enough to make Cora utterly mad….

Claws raked at her ears…..and eager teeth found a tail within reach….

Ishkov and Roman followed the chaotic clamor and bloody trail into the woods only to come face to face with the beast their beloved Cora had become. Frenzied flame colored eyes did not recognize them as the werewolf lunged at the two. Roman reacted just in time as deadly claws reached within inches of their intended targets. Tossing a strange powder in the she-wolf’s face it was enough to stun Cora momentarily, allowing it time to take effect. Her eyes became heavy and she staggered on her large paws as the sleeping dust brought the beast crashing to the ground unconscious. With the instability of her change she transformed back into her human form allowing Ishkov to gather her up, and quickly take her battered body home. Relations with her loved ones were strained after that incident, and Cora even gave up fighting. Fear kept her confined. The unknown was probably the worst. Cora knew nothing other than the stories her father had told her, and they lent little knowledge at the time. Not wanting to place her family in danger Cora made the decision to pack her things and leave.

Cora has been all over most of Europe at this point in the last 6 years, and she’s had to discover the ins and outs of her “condition” on her own as they occur. Picking up fighting again she does not compete on a professional level, but has discovered that there is some good money to be made in the underground circuit. Course it’s not entirely legal, but it is a way for her to earn a living. It also makes it easy to move on to another city should she get into a bind and need to make a hasty retreat. The she wolf has now made her home in Toradh, and has been settling in the newer side of town. Renting a cheap flat here she “works” in Galway after finding a fairly undersized fighting group there. Cora still writes home to her family, but rarely calls. Well she did until they stopped writing back…

:bulletorange:Other: (perpetual WIP)

-Due to her lineage Cora’s human personality is fairly out there and unpredictable, but her instability is far more pronounced in her Midform. Not something you want to be around for sure. She’s developed a few tricks to keep her were-self preoccupied so she doesn’t get herself into too much trouble >>. Her human canine teeth are visibly sharper, and her eyes hold that vivid feral glow to them.

-Cora keeps a small stash of Roman’s sedative powder with her. Seems to be the most effective thing when it comes to keeping her Midform in check.

-Cora has a few scars as a result of the night of her first change. The foremost are the ones on her ears where she raked them with her claws. While in her human form she wears her hair down to cover them up…unless she’s in the ring and then she doesn’t care. The last is a large one on the small of her back where she bit off her tail. Both sites are apparent in werewolf form too :D.

-One would think fighting would trigger a change for Cora, but this isn’t the case. It’s more like meditation for her with the amount she has to concentrate and focus. The only exception would be if she were to get emotionally unstable during a fight. Saaaaay for example if she were losing a fight she hadn’t planned on losing :D.

-Watch out for her legs….they’re her favorite weapon |D.

-Like any good canine she likes company. She just doesn’t always pick the best company to keep. Ideally she’ll go to a club or find a party to attend to. If she can’t find either one she’s been known to get herself arrested and thrown in the “drunk tank” for the night. In some cities she’s gone often enough to know the staff (and inmates) on a first name basis ^^.

-She spent a good amount of time in Germany before heading farther west. So on top of speaking Russian and English, she also knows a decent amount of German.

-Cora buys her clothes at second hand, thrift, or army surplus stores. She does have a few nice things for when she goes out to clubs, but she figures eventually what she wears is going to get torn to bits. So she doesn’t see the point of spending a lot of money on her wardrobe.

-The only routine Cora has is the amount she exercises and trains. First thing in the morning (if she’s not sleeping off a long party night) she’s usually up and jogging a few miles. Is quite often seen at gyms.

-The only people she honestly truly cares about at this time is her family (Consists of adopted father and sister). Word to the wise…don’t…mess…with...them. For you probably taste good with a touch of ketchup…>3

-Speaking of her family…little known fact. Ishkov was involved in the Russian mafia before he retired, and his “daughters”, Roman and Cora, also were active within the group before she split. Aaaaah, how Cora misses those good ol days.

-Cigarettes; hell yes. Alcohol; hand it over. Drugs….only if it’s not before a fight, and pending what phase the moon is in. Usually |D.
